Durfey Insurance Agency was founded by Cary Durfey in downtown Raleigh in 1937. Mr. Durfey formed the agency with a focus on prompt, personal and professional service to his customers. This remains the hallmark of the agency to this day and is the reason the company continues to thrive over 80 years later. The business has been passed from father to son for four generations.
